WELCOME HOME MISS CARLEY GRACE MANN!!

We finally had our little angel delivered to us on September 30, 2009 at 1156 pm. She weighed in at 7 pounds 9 ounces and 20 inches long. Oh my goodness how precious she is and you can see her brother and sister agree :o)

Her little chicken legs are so cute and she has an adorable little cry. So far she's a very good eater, she's allowed us some pretty good rest at night and she seems to be taking to us alright. Rylan wanted a boy baby to come home, but I think it's very evident that our little girl baby will suffice. The funny part is that he's had to be talked into the fact that she came from mommies belly and now that that's okay he says, "when our new baby gets big she can turn into a boy like he did." I think it's so funny what goes on inside their heads and I'm just glad she's here for us to love on. We love all of our munchkins and things are going great!

We had a long day at the hospital, but in the end it was all worth it and we are so happy to be home with our new little bundle. It was really fun to be surprised with another little girl and as the poll shows the votes were a tie. The nurses and everyone got in on the bets, and honestly we the majority thought we were having a boy. SURPRISE TO US!! Yipee!

Almost There!

Well, we went to the doc today and I got the good news I was looking for! I'll be able to have this kid soon! So, my original due date is Oct 7th, but I have been very optimistically hoping for the 30th of Sept and today the doc said I could get started then and get the show on the road. We're getting very excited for the babe to come eventhough when we realized it would be only 2 more weeks till the bundle of joy is delivered, I think a little bit of the nervousness and reality thoughts set in....... Hmmm what is reality anymore?

As for the other munchkins, Rylan is going to preschool and having a lot of fun. He looks forward to it and that's good. I like that he is learning new things, making friends, and getting a variety of activity. He's such a good kid.

McKinley is seriously talking up a storm. She is in the stage where she's a mouthy little thing and says crap she's heard from all of us and honestly, it's all we can do not to laugh at her and egg it on. Oh my gosh she's hilarious. We're getting very close to serious potty training. I figure I will let her get used to the changes that are about to take place in the household, and then we will give it all we've got to the exciting time of no diapers! Yipeeeeee!!!

So for now stay tuned... We will keep you posted on the baby news and hopefully everything will go down without any hiccups and we'll be able to carry on as usual and welcome a sweet angel into our home and hearts with new fun, moer poop, sleepless nights, and lots of soreness. Like I said carry on as usual :o).

Not-a-shopper issues

Honestly! I'm wondering if I'll ever get to the grocery store again. It has become a burden in my life and I hate going there. Why is it such a dreaded thing? You know it's bad when you're buying milk from a gas station and digging for bread in the freezer. Does this ever happen to any of you? Shopping at all has become a chore. I wonder what I'm going to do when I need diapers for our new package set to arrive any day now....?? Really good question I guess. Any volunteers?

Reality Check

Have you ever been so far from reality that it didn't hit you till you were right in the freakin' middle of it? Well I've had to come to grips with some reality issues this week.

You'd think that just because you're pregnant that it doesn't mean that your brain has to stop functioning properly (whatever that is), but I'm here to testify one more time that I believe it's an unwritten rule of maternity. The belly has officially taken over for the brain :o) I have missed an important event for Rylan's preschool orientation, failed to do early planning for babysitting arrangements so I could start a new semester of school on Monday, forgotten to buy books for my classes, and crammed too many stinking things into an already busy week of stress and whatnots. WHAT THE WORLD??? Pretty important details to be merely forgetting and putting off don'tcha think? By the way, who in the heck starts a new semester 5 weeks before delivering a baby??? I promise you that only CRAZY people do that for sure! I hope I can sanely speak about it in the weeks to come and keep you updated of how this all ends up. By the way, I thought for sure I would just plain melt in my class tonight. I was so stinking hot and of course the only one in there using my syllibus as a fan....the rest of them were just pretending though for sure :o)

So enough of that, the fun part of all of this is that Rylan will start preschool on Monday. He's so excited and I'm very anxious to see him get to be in there and learn and grow (eventhough it's happening too fast). He totally rocks with his letters and alphabet and other skills so I'm anxious to observe him and watch how fast he starts to do new things.

Well, that's about the jist of things at our house. Ammon is a great dad and always working hard to keep us in food, clothing, shelter, and love. Rylan is being a great big brother and the character of the house. McKinley is busy reaching new volume levels of screaming and making us laugh, and I'm just oblivious to everything around me as mentioned above....

Heaven help us all :o)

Aurora visit

So this is our 24th Parade picture :o) We happened on to a parade in good 'ole Redmond Utah and luckily McKinley had on the perfect dress. I don't know if you can tell but her pockets there on the front are stuffed full of candy. They were so impressed with the candy they got that I don't think we missed a peice. They were so adorable and had a lot of fun. Rylan was so impressed with the frisby he's holding too cuz don't you know that the guy in the big giant dumptruck threw it right to him. Yipee! We love smalltown America where they still throw candy and where the people are nice and don't care where you're from cuz you're always welcome at the party.

This truck was one of our favorite things in the parade. I mostly had to post it for my Big Bro. If I were to imagine I would say a tricked out truck could possibly be his dream ride?? What do you think Weston? Maybe you've seen this one, I think it's one of Robinsons and it looked so cool all painted up like a Harley and ridin' low. I could totally see you in it cruisin'.

While we were in Aurora for two weeks we were able to spend some quality time with the Albrecht's. We got Giggle and his family to play at the farm and then even ride a horse or two for a minute. Thanks Owen for taking the time, and thanks to Brooke and the kidlets for letting us play and spend some time with you we sure love you and enjoy being around your family!

Yes, this prego made it up on the horse and made a little loop. Rylan and McKinley thought it was great fun and just really something that their mom was riding a horse...If they only knew I used to practically live on one when we were kids. I miss those days sometimes and wish I did more riding.

Sellers Family Reunion

This is the Gang!!

Well, most of them.... We were missing a few, but this was pretty awesome to get so many together and have our Family Reunion for the year. We had a lot of fun cooking, sleeping, and playing outside at Grannie's house in Aurora. She wasn't feeling like her best self so instead of taking her to the mountains this year, we brought the party to her and enjoyed ourselves in her backyard. Thanks Grams and T for being such great camp hosts it was a blast!!!

This picture here is all of my aunts and uncles and my cute Grams Sellers. I am so happy to have such cool people be a part of my family. As you can see below we spent some good quality time singing, visiting, laughing, and sweating to death. It was a little extra hot this particular week, but we survived the mosquitoes and heat rash just the same. I credit the shade trees, the water slide, and of course the endless supply of diet coke and water, we couldn't have done it without them :-)

Thanks to T & J we got to play on this fun waterslide that they had set up in their front yard. Big kids, little kids, and grandmas alike went down in style and had a bunch of fun. Of course Rylan was scared of it and McKinley would've gone on it all day long if she could've found someone to take her down without falling off the back. It was alot of fun. Thanks!

Happy Birthday Mr Rylan!!!

What can I say..... We love our Mr. Rylan!! He turned 4 yesterday and we really had a fun day I think. Here's just a few pictures of what he loves and how stinkin' cute he is and how grown up he's gotten. I swear he was just a baby not so long ago but my how time flies.

For sure Rylan loves his sister McKinley. For the most part they play well together and are good buddies that watch out for eachother and are so precious to be with.


He loves his mommy and I love him so much! He is a good helper, a tender little sappling, and just a good kid. This picture is of his first fish he caught. He was too scared to touch it on the hook and take a picture cuz of course it was still flopping around and bleeding, so this is it in the bag it was over 2.5 pounds and really funny to see him catch it with his little pole.

This was the prize he won for catching such a prized beast of the pond!

Rylan loves his uncle Walter and for fun he brought Wall-e over to visit and this was really funny to watch cuz he LOVES the movie and the little toy thing actually talked :0)

This is of course our big boy on his Spiderman bike. He thinks it's totally the coolest and I agree. He wants to loose the little wheels of course, so with lots more practice and so on he'll do that soon. He's all decked out here in his safety gear and all and I think he's just so cute and looks too big to be my boy.......

We decorated a cake for his birthday and this is him using his artistic abilities with the yellow frosting and squirting it all over. After he was finished I let him eat it all too. Yep, we had frosting and licorice for breakfast. What a birthday present huh.

This was the finished product that we thought was so cute. Don't worry, before I could get a good picture of it the little sister of the bunch got up to it and started eating the writing off and the train track, but oh well it did taste really good so who could blame her???

These are some of his presents. The kid totally got spoiled by his aunts and grandmas. It looked like Christmas after he got finished opening everything. Thank you everyone for the awesome gifts and the party fun. It was great to have family around and celebrate!!!

This was the funniest moment. Rylan was talking to Chantz and Sage on the phone and laughing and rocking his new chair and acting all giddy and almost like a dang teenager on the phone, needless to say his dad and I were laughing at him and had to catch an cute shot of him being silly.

This is our handsome boy posing for a shot at Grams Sellers' house. He is so grown up and very pleasant to have around. He loves to play at his cousins houses and play with Jameson and Shayler and Axel whenever he can. He enjoys storytime with his Aunt Jane and Granny Grace each week and is getting really excited to start preschool this year. Rylan has learned all of his letters and lots of songs and enjoys playing with his puppy dog and his sister. He looks and acts so much like his dad that I hope he becomes like him when he's grown. Heaven knows he has an awesome dad and is lucky to have such a great example. Happy 4th Birthday Rylan! We Love You and are so happy to see you grow and Be your Family!
