Greetings

We have reserfaced for a spell and thought it was time to update. As you can see Ryland and McKinley have been playing at the park some and catching the rays (we're all working on our tans and being pretty successful for all the time we spend outside). I finished my finals this last week and am done with school until the fall semester which is nice.
We did manage to plant a couple of garden items behind our house, and we have also been invited to take part in the neighborhood garden which I'm totally excited about. Our neighbors have a very large garden spot and we have helped plant and so on and by helping weed and all that we get to eat what we want too Yummy Yummy! We can't wait! This last weekend we also helped Tara Dawn a little bit with her planting and this next weekend we will be going to Tawnya's to help them with what we can in getting the family garden going :o)

Between Garden spots we do manage some culture at the library with story time and this is where Rylan became the newest su[erhero on the map his name is Mr. "Q" and yes, even superheroes need a little rest. He was so cute we couldn't help but snap a couple of shots. For a full day he wouldn't take his cover off. We even went to dinner that night and he wore it...yep, we let him. I thought it was precious.

So, one funny story that should make you laugh. Rylan and McKinley have a little nephew that lives by us and as McKinley has started to say a lot of words and stuff she is really proud of the fact that she can say his name, which is Axel. Well, let me tell you, when we're at church and they see him and his family walk in and the excitement swells she can't help but call his name out very loud and just imagine what she says without a nice X in it. Yep she says assel and it sounds alot like we've taught her to swear. Well, for those who don't know we're related to little assel think she's swearing. My face goes red and we try to clarify somewhat, but oh well, it's not our fault they named him something that causes kids to swear, but it's really funny when she says it.

One other thing that's funny that Rylan says when he wants to get mouthy and not listen to his mom is that he's Out of control, (he learned that from his mother) but when he says it oh it makes me laugh. With all seriousness that he can muster he'll say, no! I'm uncle trol so I can't help you or whatever and because it's so funny how it just came out I can't help but laugh and it makes for quite a moment. My children are hillarious and just keep getting funnier.

We have a lot of good times and they keep me busy. We love you all and hope to keep up a little better with the blogging. Take care!

Well Here's a little update. We've been busy playing, visiting in Aurora, and being silly. Since my last post I've felt bad that I left it all on such a rotten note. I'm just sorry that my Aunt Lisa had to read about my potty mouth and frustrations cuz I think she thought I was perfect up until now (just like I think of her), but I have blown any chances for perfection lately :o)

This is cute Shayler and his little bro Jameson. Shayler was baptized on the 3rd so we were able to go and support him in his new adventure as a member of the church. He was precious and looked so big! Congratulations Shayler we are so proud of you for choosing the right.

This is my little bratling acting up cuz she had to be strapped into the seat while we drove.

You can see now why she was mad... Notice she's the only one that had to be in a seat? Yep Grandma Kasea was in there too with the other 5 heads you can see in the backest seat of the suburban. The back was chucked full of landscaping bark and we even had some strapped on the top (yes I think we made the hillbilly's all turn and wish they could ride is such style).

These pics are all of us girls getting ready for the baptism. It was fun playing with Dallee and Aspen and getting to wear the cute flower bows that Brooke has made Even I got to wear one :o)

I had to throw this one in and show that Rylan could not get enough of this stroller @ the girls' house. He is so funny with dolls and strollers and I find nothing wrong with it.

Now for these last two. Rylan and his cousin Axel sure love to play together and they are funny. Aunt Jane takes them to storytime and the library every week and then they get to play afterward and be silly. I'm glad they are close in age to be able to have so much fun.

As for the flat, we tried to get to church last Sunday and this was the morning surprise we had for us. Oh well, things went smoothly getting it fixed and all that fun stuff...just had to post it I guess :o)

The Magic of the Eraser Thank goodness

Well, what can I say? Yesterday was an especially difficult mommy day and I was wondering what in the hell I was thinking when I had children. Seriously I thought I might go crazy before Ammon got home and saved us all from eachother.

So, the only thing I'm disappointed about is that I didn't get a picture of what really happened and how bad it was. Rylan was being especially naughty and I sent him to his room to get dressed and think about being a good boy. Well, I think he must've tried to draw a picture of it on the wall with his markers because that's just what I saw when I went in to check on him. I can't express how pissed off I was to see his artwork and the hole he had also made in the mattress pad thing that's on his bed. My hell! He hadn't been in the bedroom that long and he made sure he used every minute to tear the place up. Any other day I may have secretly laughed about it, but yesterday I blew my top and felt like I could cry.

So, today I feel better about life and I'm posting a pic of Rylan and his dad cleaning up the wreckage and letting you know that magic erasers really do work (even in the hands of a 3 year old). Yes I made him clean it up.....

I sure Love Rylan, but when he is short on sleep (and I am too) we just clash and barely make it through the freakin day. I'm happy to say we came through fine and that he really is precious most of the time......

Where oh where did we go they ask????

So, I realize we have been a little on the low down for a week or two. It's a mix of a mess to try and explain everything and anything about what we've been doing.....oh yeah and not doing as pointed out nicely by Amee. Here's a short insight to a day in the life:

**Tending babyJett full-time now everyday.
**Being referee to Rylan and McKinley (which makes me wonder what my name is after a day)
**Some housework (if I have time & energy of course) followed by some quality couch time
**A few hours of school three days a week (sometimes homework is on time).
**Couple of days of work each week
**And who know what else I've been doing. Evertyhing seems a little cloudy these days and I hope to break through sooner than later... (any ideas?)

No, there's really actually a logical explanation for why I haven't posted. You know when I got my new camera several months ago I was super impressed of course and snapped a lot of shots (about 439 to be exact) and I had never printed them until last month and the damages were $50 bucks! EEck! So I've decided that I've become camera shy for fear that I'll get slapped by the kodak machine again. I'm gonna work on this detail. How does everyone else get the prints? Do you have any cool tricks or online things that you do or am I as normal as the rest of the world? (you don't have to answer that)

Here's a couple of shots that we took of our little picnic the other day. It's kinda funny cuz it shows all of us at the same lace and time but definitely enjoying it differently :o)

Well it's 50 degrees and we had to get out! This is of course just up the street from our house where we went with Ammon's sister and her little munchkin and walked and hiked around on the rocks and so on. We had a fun little afternoon and of course it gave me Spring fever in a bad way! How's the snow treating everyone? This is when I love where I live cuz we're freezing when it's 50 :o)

My Random thoughts...

So, I thought I would be deep into my studies by the second week when in fact I haven't attended really any of my classes yet. I started with one schedule of classes and decided they were not what I wanted to study of be in for 3 months, so I dropped them and am in the process of getting added into the classes I really want to take. I'm retarded for waiting, but hopefully the professors will be nice and sign me in.

The other day I was doing a scrapping project and came upon my new favorite saying. It may just be my new theme thought.

It is: Every path has its puddles.

I've thought about this a lot. I really think there is so much truth to it and it simplifies why things are the way they are and why things happen. No matter the path chosen, there will be bumps and trials to over come, jump over, swim through, or crawl around. What do you think??

Memorable Moments

It's been awhile since we touched base. Here's a couple of random pictures from the last couple of days (more like weeks) that shows what we've been up to. I wish it was something extraordinary, but it's just life.... Some highlights have been: Our Family Christmas/ New Year's Party! We had all my siblings there except Weston and his family. We even got Daren and Meg here from New Mex. We had a alot of FUN Thanks for coming and CA Albrecht's we missed you! Other happenings were two new nephews being born. Jett Lundin on Dec 22 and Gus Albrecht on Jan 2. It's so exciting to have new munchkins in the family CONGRATS to O1 and Dayna's Family! I started back to school on Monday too so we will see how that goes.

Here's sweet little baby Gus Albrecht. He is adorable and makes the cutest little grunts.
