Happy Birthday Mr Rylan!!!

What can I say..... We love our Mr. Rylan!! He turned 4 yesterday and we really had a fun day I think. Here's just a few pictures of what he loves and how stinkin' cute he is and how grown up he's gotten. I swear he was just a baby not so long ago but my how time flies.

For sure Rylan loves his sister McKinley. For the most part they play well together and are good buddies that watch out for eachother and are so precious to be with.


He loves his mommy and I love him so much! He is a good helper, a tender little sappling, and just a good kid. This picture is of his first fish he caught. He was too scared to touch it on the hook and take a picture cuz of course it was still flopping around and bleeding, so this is it in the bag it was over 2.5 pounds and really funny to see him catch it with his little pole.

This was the prize he won for catching such a prized beast of the pond!

Rylan loves his uncle Walter and for fun he brought Wall-e over to visit and this was really funny to watch cuz he LOVES the movie and the little toy thing actually talked :0)

This is of course our big boy on his Spiderman bike. He thinks it's totally the coolest and I agree. He wants to loose the little wheels of course, so with lots more practice and so on he'll do that soon. He's all decked out here in his safety gear and all and I think he's just so cute and looks too big to be my boy.......

We decorated a cake for his birthday and this is him using his artistic abilities with the yellow frosting and squirting it all over. After he was finished I let him eat it all too. Yep, we had frosting and licorice for breakfast. What a birthday present huh.

This was the finished product that we thought was so cute. Don't worry, before I could get a good picture of it the little sister of the bunch got up to it and started eating the writing off and the train track, but oh well it did taste really good so who could blame her???

These are some of his presents. The kid totally got spoiled by his aunts and grandmas. It looked like Christmas after he got finished opening everything. Thank you everyone for the awesome gifts and the party fun. It was great to have family around and celebrate!!!

This was the funniest moment. Rylan was talking to Chantz and Sage on the phone and laughing and rocking his new chair and acting all giddy and almost like a dang teenager on the phone, needless to say his dad and I were laughing at him and had to catch an cute shot of him being silly.

This is our handsome boy posing for a shot at Grams Sellers' house. He is so grown up and very pleasant to have around. He loves to play at his cousins houses and play with Jameson and Shayler and Axel whenever he can. He enjoys storytime with his Aunt Jane and Granny Grace each week and is getting really excited to start preschool this year. Rylan has learned all of his letters and lots of songs and enjoys playing with his puppy dog and his sister. He looks and acts so much like his dad that I hope he becomes like him when he's grown. Heaven knows he has an awesome dad and is lucky to have such a great example. Happy 4th Birthday Rylan! We Love You and are so happy to see you grow and Be your Family!

I can't believe it's been a month since my last post, I've really got some catchin' up to do... but I swear I won't bore you with the details.

Life is about the same here besides the fact that I keep getting bigger and Ammon keeps getting smaller. I am 27 weeks along now and hot as heck due to the fact that Summer has hit and my internal thermostat is having technical difficulties. The kids are driving me nuts, but really I wonder if they will survive my my mean motherness :o)

I went to my little Great Grannies funeral this last week. Her name was Eris Rees Pasket. Bless her heart she was 98 years old and outlived all of her closest relatives accept one nephew, 3 grandchildren, and most of her great grnadchildren. She was a special lady, but was not in the best of health the past 10 or so years, so it was a blessing that she got to finally go on ahead to the other side where I'm certain she was greeted by many.

Well, the time is flying and we can hardly keep track of the date, but next time we'll post some cute pictures of what's been happening so until then carry on and take care all!

Baby Names

So we've been thinking of a few names and these are what we've come up with so far. As you read them please realize how difficult it is to come up with a first name that goes well with our last name and doesn't sound silly... These are some of them we like but as you read them practice saying it with our lastname and then let us know which one you like the most or give us some others you think are good:

Question of the day.....???

So, I'd like to know why is it that everytime you step into the grocery store the kids act up? Don't they know we've already put it off as long as possible and we are already dreading the visit to the store? Maybe they do know this and that's why they chose to be the biggest booger noses ever when you go in.

I think I have the idea of the century that stores should pick up on. Don't you think that if they had a place like yes, a daycare inside the door of their stores that you could drop your little darlings off at for the duration of your shopping that they could make a ton of money off of us moms? Don't they realize how long we would browse and spend entirely too much money on things we don't need just to get some "me time"? I think that someone out there should try it. Women and men would flock to their doors from miles around just to avoid the running down aisles, the dodging of sweets, and the contiuous echoes of "for the last time NO! we're not buying that today don't ask again" stuff you hear from every parent who accidentally passed down the wrong aisle.

It's just a thought.... I am just worn out by the time I finish paying that I would almost be willing to pay extra for my stuff so that I didn't have to be tortured all the way through the store by my little darlings.

What the Rubber problem????

I just want to know, what in the world is wrong with the rubber things around my house these days????? You all know I had a flat recently on my car and just last night I was cruising home from work (at 11:30 pm of course) and I had a flat on my scooter. Do you all know what it's like to have a flat on a moped going 30 mph? I'm gonna guess not cuz I didn't either and I about whiped out on the Boulevard right in front of a car. That sucked and I had to hobble myself and the little flat off the road and let's not forget I had a trumpet in its case between my legs that I am trying to get to Kyle and dangit I even managed to save its life. I must say, the most maddening part of the deal was that I decided to walk home from there. My feet were so freaking sore when I got home that I just wanted to be pissed. I can't figure out this rubber problem we keep having at our house.
Oh yeah, that brings me back to the rubber issue. Some of you also know, and some of you don't that we are expecting. Yep I'm due October 1st due to another rubber breakage problem..... :o) I'm just kidding. That was actually a planned thing and we are very excited! Some days I wonder what the heck we were thinking though cuz I feel like the crap has been knocked out of me and I'm sort of a tired, honery, mean beast (if you can imagine that at all).


So here's a picture of the ultrasound of the alien child we had just the other day. I can tell you one thing, this kid is gonna be jsut as fiesty as the other two I live with. We went and I didn't want to know what we were having, but Ammon did, so I agreed to let him and make him keep the secret. Well, me and that kid had a little silent visit and the legs were crossed to begin with, then the knees were stuck together, and at one point a hand came down in front of the goods. Yep, the kid kept the parts hidden and there was no finding out. Hehehehehe! I was laughing so hard cuz the games were on and the kid won already! Let's just say we know we better get gearing up during this last half because the world is about to be turned upside down with another mannimal entry.

I will say that we are eager for either a boy or a girl we don't care, but I am gonna put a pole up and see what you all think we're having, and if you have any ideas for names let us know. We have a few that we're kicking around that we'll bring out later.

Greetings

We have reserfaced for a spell and thought it was time to update. As you can see Ryland and McKinley have been playing at the park some and catching the rays (we're all working on our tans and being pretty successful for all the time we spend outside). I finished my finals this last week and am done with school until the fall semester which is nice.
We did manage to plant a couple of garden items behind our house, and we have also been invited to take part in the neighborhood garden which I'm totally excited about. Our neighbors have a very large garden spot and we have helped plant and so on and by helping weed and all that we get to eat what we want too Yummy Yummy! We can't wait! This last weekend we also helped Tara Dawn a little bit with her planting and this next weekend we will be going to Tawnya's to help them with what we can in getting the family garden going :o)

Between Garden spots we do manage some culture at the library with story time and this is where Rylan became the newest su[erhero on the map his name is Mr. "Q" and yes, even superheroes need a little rest. He was so cute we couldn't help but snap a couple of shots. For a full day he wouldn't take his cover off. We even went to dinner that night and he wore it...yep, we let him. I thought it was precious.

So, one funny story that should make you laugh. Rylan and McKinley have a little nephew that lives by us and as McKinley has started to say a lot of words and stuff she is really proud of the fact that she can say his name, which is Axel. Well, let me tell you, when we're at church and they see him and his family walk in and the excitement swells she can't help but call his name out very loud and just imagine what she says without a nice X in it. Yep she says assel and it sounds alot like we've taught her to swear. Well, for those who don't know we're related to little assel think she's swearing. My face goes red and we try to clarify somewhat, but oh well, it's not our fault they named him something that causes kids to swear, but it's really funny when she says it.

One other thing that's funny that Rylan says when he wants to get mouthy and not listen to his mom is that he's Out of control, (he learned that from his mother) but when he says it oh it makes me laugh. With all seriousness that he can muster he'll say, no! I'm uncle trol so I can't help you or whatever and because it's so funny how it just came out I can't help but laugh and it makes for quite a moment. My children are hillarious and just keep getting funnier.

We have a lot of good times and they keep me busy. We love you all and hope to keep up a little better with the blogging. Take care!

Well Here's a little update. We've been busy playing, visiting in Aurora, and being silly. Since my last post I've felt bad that I left it all on such a rotten note. I'm just sorry that my Aunt Lisa had to read about my potty mouth and frustrations cuz I think she thought I was perfect up until now (just like I think of her), but I have blown any chances for perfection lately :o)

This is cute Shayler and his little bro Jameson. Shayler was baptized on the 3rd so we were able to go and support him in his new adventure as a member of the church. He was precious and looked so big! Congratulations Shayler we are so proud of you for choosing the right.

This is my little bratling acting up cuz she had to be strapped into the seat while we drove.

You can see now why she was mad... Notice she's the only one that had to be in a seat? Yep Grandma Kasea was in there too with the other 5 heads you can see in the backest seat of the suburban. The back was chucked full of landscaping bark and we even had some strapped on the top (yes I think we made the hillbilly's all turn and wish they could ride is such style).

These pics are all of us girls getting ready for the baptism. It was fun playing with Dallee and Aspen and getting to wear the cute flower bows that Brooke has made Even I got to wear one :o)

I had to throw this one in and show that Rylan could not get enough of this stroller @ the girls' house. He is so funny with dolls and strollers and I find nothing wrong with it.

Now for these last two. Rylan and his cousin Axel sure love to play together and they are funny. Aunt Jane takes them to storytime and the library every week and then they get to play afterward and be silly. I'm glad they are close in age to be able to have so much fun.

As for the flat, we tried to get to church last Sunday and this was the morning surprise we had for us. Oh well, things went smoothly getting it fixed and all that fun stuff...just had to post it I guess :o)
