Princess for a Day!

Have you ever seen such a cute little thing? McKinley had a Birthday....

This is the pre-party day with my family a few days before. She was so adorable being a Princess! This little one really is a sweetheart! We love her and have so much fun. I love her blue eyes, personality, and love that shows through in her precious baby way. Thanks KaSea for the fun gifts!

Well, our little girl turned one this month. I'm a little slow, but her actual birthday was on the 17th! I can't believe she is already one! She was so cute all day. Everytime Rylan and I would break out in the birthday song throughout the day she would light up and grin and clap. To the left there she had already made a mess of herself from the little icing and cake episode, but she wasn't done yet. This is here digging in the loot and pulling it all out one piece at a time. Thanks to Aunt Jane, Grannie Grace, and the King's she walked away with a ton of cute cute things. We had a fun little donut and hot chocolate party!

She wasn't super excited about actually eating the icing and junk, but she did have a good time getting it all over herself and flipping it through the room! It's too bad I don't know how to get the little video thing on here cuz she is so funny to watch.

The Trophy!

Well, we made it through the ordeal and the tooth speaks for himself. The visit to the same-day surgery clinic was no fun, but oh well. We went in early and they got him all prepped. Rylan started to get nervous and didn't even want to put the little gown thing on. After some coaxing and a little slip of the happy medicine he was doing everything we wanted and I couldn't stop giggling at him. Soon he couldn't say his name and could only get two of his three year old fingers to rise and say how old he was. Then he was on his way with the anesthesiologist and the dentist. After a long wait, he came screaming out of recovery (just ask Brandon's mom if you don't believe me when I say SCREAMING). He showed his mean, out-of-it side and proved to be stronger than all of the women in the entire recovery room. We finally got some juice in him and so after the scratching and hitting subsided they let us leave. As you can see below he left with a trophy prize and hasn't looked back. After a couple of good hours of rest, the only thing he complained about was hunger. He is now sporting a silver cap, a spacer, and some white fillings. Needless to say, there will be A LOT more brushing going on at our house.

I think this picture looks like the tooth needs a name and a pair of walking shoes on. I couldn't believe how big it was and the roots on that sucker! This was the reason for the swollen cheek and the infection was such that we just had to part with it. I never knew I would be getting in touch with the tooth fairy so soon. This one is definitely worth some $$$.

Wooly Moolies Causin' trouble

So look at this poor little twit. His little face is swollen from his teeth and we haven't even had them worked on yet....That's tomorrow. He has to go and be put to sleep so they can fix two of his mollars that are obviously acting up. Bless his heart, he has been so tough and patient waiting for this appointment time to finally get here. We'll update you on the new look and the new pretty silver lining Rylan will soon be sporting.

So, you know what's really sad to me??? When you post a couple of different blogs and the only people that comment on them are yourselves and your 14-year-old nephew that's giving you crap. That is pretty pathetic for us :0)

The Mann's have been super busy! I thought McKinley would be talking before I had a chance to post and give an update..... Believe me she's well on her way!

We found out Rylan has to be put to sleep to have his teeth worked on and a couple of them capped so he can actually keep them for a few years. He's been having a lot of toothaches and such, so we finally had to do something about that one. If any of you know Ammon and I you know that we are like the poster children for the most fillings in a mouth. I took a many a walks down to the dentist in Bicknell and I guess this is just one of those walks for Rylan that won't stop til he's 30. Bless his heart.....

Nothin else to really report. I've been observing some different schools for one of my classes and what I've found out is that Mr. Peterson really was a good teacher. He was a lot more dedicated and interested in our success than some of the people I'm meeting and talking to in this district. retirement won't come fast enough for them and the kids they torture everyday. I just hope you all realize the great teachers you once had, and be glad you don't have to ever have the crappy ones again. Hell I hope I can be one of those that kids want to have.

We're excited for Halloween I guess. I just barely broke down and got the kids' costumes yesterday. Nothin like the last minute, so we'll be posting some cute pics of a little Pirate Mate and little Tink.

P.S. Are we all as ready for this Damned election to be over as I am? I can't wait to stop listening to the backbiting and bickering bullsh**t! Heaven help us pick the right ones for the job!

1,2,3 guess who's off her knees????

Yes my little McKinley is walking. She had decided the crawling thing is outdated and she wants to keep up with the rest of us and walk. She's been so cute wabbling and learning how to stay upright. She is not quite 11 months yet, but she is well on her way to the big 1 year!!! I think these pictures are so cute of her and just wanted to share the big news of the week at our house!

This picture below is the silly sister doing her new thing of laying on the floor practically under my feet while I'm in the kitchen trying to cook or whatever. She's such a little ball of fire and a cuddly little precious munchkin! Notice the lip thing. I don't know how she learned to do it, but it's really cute. Oh, and by the way, the poor child does have another scary hairdo, I promise it's cute before the removal of the hair thingy :o) She'll probably hate me when she's old enough to look back at these pictures.
