For some reason it really does seem like the minute we step foot out of bed the wind starts blowing against us. If only I could remember throughout the day how I'm supposed to act....... Hello out there! Anyone still check us out????

Hey All! Greetings for the Mann's. It's been a very long time since we've posted. Here's a quick update of what we've been doing and what we still look like. So much has been going on we hope you all keep checking up on us. Between work, school, play, and more work we manage to still snap a few shots. I finally purchased myself a new camera that I Love, love, love and I am finally trying it out and posting some pics. We are enjoying the perfect weather around these parts and looking forward to Fall. The kids are growing and being little typical kids and life is good. Here's a few fun pics of the last few weeks. These are just a couple of fun pictures of McKinley. She looks like such a Wednesday's child, but she is just so precious. Her hair has quite the hot look!! Oh Baby!

We've been REALLY busy down south lately. I have been recruited to work back at my old job help to cover the hunters of the bunch and so McKinley and even Rylan have been able to spend some quality time with mommy at the office. For the most part they were good little munchkins, but I don't recommend it daily :o)

She was such a good little secretary! the people did have a hard understanding her though go figure.....

We've also been up to my big sis's house doing our yearly canning and bottling for the season. We had a ton of spagetti sauce, tomatoes, juice, beets, pears, beans, etc, etc, etc. by the time we were finished and most of all we had a ton of fun working together and being industrious souls ;o)

Little catch up day

Have you ever seen something so cute as this picture of thes guys and their dad? We were playing at the station trying on these hats and I just think this is the funnest little picture ever.

Seriously, when McKinley gets older and she sees that bow on her head, she'll probably start to cry. You try to do cute things with their hair and whatever, but it ends up making them look like it's the attack of the bows. I got a bunch of these darling bows from Mary and I love them, but McKinley doesn't have the hair for them yet and I don't have the talents for them yet, so in time we will hopefully get the hang of it.

So, I thought I would finally catch up with you all for a minute today. It's been a crazy couple of weeks with starting school and working and momming, and everything elsing...... You all know what I'm talking about and sometimes it gets the best of you. I have decided to take a blogging breather today and fill you in a little. Plus, I have gone ahead and done the "responsible" thing with some of my student loan and I bought a laptop computer that I LOVE!!! I'm so stoked about it. I made Ammon take a lunch break with me the other day to go and get it and I'm trying it out today. I have never bought a computer for myself. I have somehow always had one, but I really have a nice one now that I can use for my schooling, blogging, and whatever else I decide :o) I have decided I love school. It has been really hard making the transition back and trying to get the brain to do new things again, but I am really excited to be taking classes toward my major and not those dreaded required ones anymore. I will keep you posted on us and you can be sure some of you will be getting used in some of my assignments and courses. Take Care All!

Finally a "Hotty".....

I'm a little short on the blog buzz these days and really have so little to share. I will however let you know that Ammon and I were able to swing a date (or a Hotty as we say in our fam) on Saturday (which was the first in a LONG time). It was great! We left the kids with KaSea and made no point to hurry back. We hit a session @ the temple which was great and long overdue, then we pigged out at Famous Dave's, also great (loved the ribs) and long overdue, and then we hit a flick at the $1 theatre. You gotta love the movies for a buck Yeehaw! We saw Iron Man and I'm not gonna lie I was not interested in it at all and didn't think it would be any good especially after finding out it was something to do with a comic bleh, bleeh, blah.
Well, to my surprise it was pretty good if I might say so myself. Not like the best movie ever, but I will say Mr. Robert Downy Jr. was hot, there was a pretty good story, some humor, some serious parts, tiny bit of romance and all in all it was good.

Thanks KaSea for watching the kids. Thanks Ammon for taking me out to have some fun and forget about "life" for a minute.

Hopefully we will have more to report soon. I am starting back to school this week to complete my 4 year degree and to get my teaching certificate. I'm starting to work a few more hours a week and we are really gonna get crazy around here, but hey what would we do if we didn't make ourselves crazy trying to juggle everything that we do to make things work?

RAD or RANDOM???

So this is meant to be an 80's flashback moment and in order to fully catch the drift you must first scroll down to the Mann Music and select the last song on the list "Send me an Angel".... Go ahead, I'll wait :o)

Okay, now that the tunes have begun and the smile is on your face, you may have noticed that this is like to only song that was played on the movie that I LOVE called Rad! I am wondering if there are any Rad lovers out there who share the same love or if this blog will be voted totally random?

I'm not really sure why this song and movie came to me when I was making some new song selections, but I thought it was worth mentioning. For any and all of you who were wowed over and over again by this wildly entertaining flick, the feeling that takes you back to the boy who was trying so hard to be able to make the race on his stylin' BMX bike and in his quest feel in love with the only girl racer. Note: I'm not going to pretend I remember all the details of this movie. You see, I can hardly think of anything in it other than the bike, the song, the jumps, and the song, oh yeah and the bike. Until I was Sharply reminded of the correct name, I called this all-time fav BMX everytime I talked about it. However, there is something about these flicks that helped raise you when you had no other source of sanity or entertainment in a small town. Another one of those favs for me and my fam is "the Manaquin"and "Young Guns". Between these movies and of course some other 80's favorites, we were properly reared. :o)

Seriously this blog has no great point other than to take you back for a minute and remember this great movie and to see if it takes the whole 6 minutes (the length of the song) to read it. For those of you who were not lucky enough to have seen it, I suggest you get on the stick and watch it! If for no other reason than for a good laugh, look it up next time you're at the video store.
