Oh Jeez...

So inicent and yet such trouble they are when those eyes open......

So, this THING was found by accident yesterday. Rylan being the curious little three year old (on the 2nd) that he is decided that if there was a little yellow thing that looked small and a hole on his face that was small too, then there was a chance that it might need something in it besides the regular stuff, and thus is was inserted there for safe keeping. We now understand why Rylan had a bloody nose when we were at Dayna and Brandon's house on Sunday....

Yes, the yellow thing which is an AirSoft Beebee was in Rylan's nose. Ammon happened to take a glance at him last night (24 hours later) and notice a shiny yellow thing that was of course a little different than the regular stuff that's in there and had to strangely pry it out (with a bobby pin) of his little nose. What a little belnap. The removal was... difficult, but successful. Double, Brandon, did you know you were missing one of these?
You can come pick it up now, we've used it for all we can think of :o)

Blogging Boredom

Well, this is me getting bored of blogging. I love looking at everyone elses, but I'm kinda tired of the time it takes to put new stuff on. I've had a lot of fun things to put on the last couple of weeks and so on, but I suck and getting them on..... Here's a couple of shots just to keep you coming back and not thinking that I am entirely pathetic.



Did any of you know we have dino bones that were discovered in St. George? We have now officially visited the site (which has been built for like 8 years) We are evidently in no hurry to see such great findings.... Thanks to Chantz we got excited to see them.



The Summer swimming is getting great! We had a blast at the Veyo pool Not to mention the King snake that fell out of the tree right next to me and McKinley AND I MEAN RIGHT NEXT TO US! He had just caught a poor little bird and lost his grip I guess and plopped right on the deck about 3 feet from us. Needless to say, we were running for the pool! HONESTLY A SNAKE FALLING OUT OF A TREE.... What the???

Some Seattle Story

And the Story begins...

You will soon notice that as we take pictures, there's always someone missing or the quality is no good on some of these pictures etc etc, and I will have to say if this wasn't the case, then the event wasn't that special. Doesn't it seem that everytime you're wanting great pictures and for everything to be perfect that you can almost guarantee that it won't be? That's the case here. Above we are missing Weston's family who are nicely standing there to the right and below my son is being a brat that just woke up and he wouldn't stand in the cousin picture and obviously my daughter was trying the "hang" in there :o)

So, I'm sure you figured out this is the Seattle wedding of Daren and Megan. We had a great time and the whole event went down without a flaw. Everything was perfect (besides my pictures) and we are so glad we got to go and share their day with them. The shin dig took place in the yard of the brides parents and as you can see the natural decor was spectacular and we didn't even get rained on. To be honest they said they hadn't seen the sun in months and I'll tell you what we were able to see it for three of the four days we were there. Thank Heavens!

This is the lovely bride a groom above. Again the rotation thing is bad, but nonetheless they were an adorable couple (minus the grooms hair do). They looked so happy and ready to start their new life.

Of course there isn't an event unless there is a crazy aunt Brennie there :o) She is the star of the show usually and we had a ton of fun with her and we're so glad she could make it.

These other pics are of the wedding ontourage.... They were all decked out in their nice duds and a little too serious if I might say so myself. Look at my big brother there below, don't you think he looks like the handsome singer in the Country band "Big and Rich"?


Now starts our fun day we spent in the city at the Pike's place Market. I love this spot in Seattle and we had some fun there and lots of laughs. Lets just say we were a bunch of country bumpkins making a day of it and Owen came home a little more educated that he wanted to be and that he may never live down the fact that there is a man named Butch that wishes he could have gotten his digits.............. :o)

I know there's a ton of pics and they don't even tell the whole story. I will say it sucks to travel with a sick baby which we did and it also sucks to fly when you have to sick babies on the return trip when gravity is not your friend. I am thankful that we were able to fly though because I'm sure we'd never have made it otherwise. We are glad to be home and to get our bearings back we had a lot of sleepless nights, alot of fun, and would do it again in a heartbeat. I love time with my family however I think Ammon may have a different comment. He does love the fam of course, but I swear some of the adventures he has endured with us in our five years of marriage are surley more that he signed up, not to mention the belly sick we and everyone else came home with, heee, heee, heee!

"Pooling Together"

Okay, so I still don't know how to upload a photo after I've rotated it and tried to fix it, but you get the picture I hope. We are starting to really enjoy the Spring and soon-to-be HOT Summer weather by playing in the water at the parks etc and I decided that we needed a little kiddie pool at our house so we didn't always have to leave to get wet and have fun... The following few pics are of Rylan, McKinley, and their silly mom getting our Cool Pool home in the Vue and yes the back was shut (we had to drive a few miles home).



I really think we had more fun getting it in the car in the store parking lot and watching the people starring and laughing at us than we have playing in it... well, almost. The kids have really had fun in it and we've managed to put a hole in it already too, but the story is fun to tell and the pictures make a good page :o) Oh the crap we'll do and the stunts we'll pull for some danged 'ole entertainment!

Congratulations Uncle Duck!

So on Friday the 9th we (Dad, Tawnya, Me, Owen, Dayna, and of course McKinley) set out for Las Cruces, New Mexico to attend Daren and Megan's (Daren's fiance) graduation from NMSU. We made it there late that night, went to the ceremony and was back home by 5AM Sunday. I'm not sure why we did it so fast, but we made those 14 hours (each direction) look like a piece of cake. We had a ton of fun laughing, talking, farting, fighting, sleeping, and eating from every pit stop between here and hell and back and we would do it again in a heartbeat. We are so proud of Daren getting his BA in Civil Engineering and Megan getting her BA in Agricultural Science. We love them and look up to them for their hard work and getting their education. There are no pictures cuz like a dork I didn't have my camera, but maybe you can check Dayna's blog in a couple of days and see some good ones.
We will be travelling to Seattle soon for the wedding of Daren and Megan and believe me there will be pictures of that....so, I guess it's

Park and Play

So, you've gotta love the timer on the camera. We tried it so many times to get a good shot of all of us, but this is the best we could do. After the ones that looked like we were tipping over and the others that made the dog look like he was an alien from outer space, this is it.

I love my two little kidlets, but I sure could use some new spectacles that didn't make me look like my eyes are always half shut. Notice how tan Rylan is getting from playing in the sun?

We love our little bike buggy. The first ride we took all the tires were flat including the ones on the bike, but we were so excited to use it we went on a little jaunt anyway, then the second ride we took was the one above and the kids were so cute. They were holding hands the whole time and I just couldn't get enough of it. I think McKinley looks scared to death, but truly she giggled and had a fun time and held on to her brothers hand the whole ride and we had a lovely Mother's Day strole.

A few steps down memory lane

So you know when you want to take a picture and usually the best poses happen when the camera is nowhere to be found, but the cell phone is connected at the hip, well these pics are those moments. We recently had our phone take a poop on us and there were tons of these cute little pictures of the munchkins so we got that little memory card and we were able to get them off and have them on disc. I'm so glad that that works cuz I just love some of them and so I also wanted to share them with you all. Some of the shots are way old etc, but who really cares. I haven't checked the "Blog rules" lately, but I don't think there's one that says the pictures added always have to be new ones :o)
Today someone told me that I have the cutest kids ever and that I should get them in a magazine or a commercial or something... I think the good 'ole blogspot will be as famous as they get, but that's good enough for us. Hope you enjoy the goods as much as I do.
