SPRING FEVER BABY!!!

Such a cute smile :o) McKinley is already 4 1/2 months old and so happy and cute. Don't you just wanna squish her cheeks?


How bout this cute little sleepy drool face? She is such a trooper when Rylan and I don't wanna go in the house yet.





We got a new sandbox this week!! We lvoe it. I'm not sure if Rylan or Pudgie (the dog) likes it more, he just digs and digs like he's actually going to get somewhere the silly pooch. It's really nice sand and so it's like having one more fun thing added to our playground...if only there was a way to have the dirt stay outside and not in the house so much.


We spend a lot of our day in the backyard playing and this is Rylan's cousin who gets to come to our house and keep him busy for me. They play together so well and they are really cute together.


We LOVE having picnics outside now! Rylan is so cute at his little table.


We definitely have Spring fever and it's getting to be a lot warmer down South here.

"Not until you want it...."

So today, my blog may be silly to some, but will ring many mommy bells to others.
I just wanted to point out how funny I think it is that kids are so cute and want nothing around them or to be anywhere until you (mom) want it...

For instance, they will not go in the bathroom for any darn reason until you want a minute to yourself to take care of business and all of a sudden you have the kids, the dog and even sometimes the neighbors in with you and practically on your lap trying to help you or making comments and asking every question they do not need the answer to. **Notice they're never anywhere near when you're stranded?????

They couldn't care less where the computer is or what you do at the desk until you want to sit down and use it and then there's a race for your lap and an uncontrolable need to touch every button and move the mouse until you've just plain had it with holding them back so you get up and they do too... Honestly! Why won't they do this when it's dish time? In the action begging to help and touch everything.

They have zero interest in the vacuum, laundryroom, broom etc until you want to use it. At this point they must try to be helpers and sit on it, try to fold it, or want to drive, sweep, or steer and you have to fight over who gets to be the boss, which is usually always determined by one of us storming off to our rooms :o) Oh blessed timeout!

I just think it's so interesting how kids work. I love mine to death and think daily how precious they are and how empty my life would be without them, they are just surely the most peculiar little things on earth (and then they turn out to be US! Heaven help 'em)

I know I'm not the only one who gets a chuckle out of the quirckiness and curiosity of a kid, and I can't wait to find out what sparks the interests of some of your little ones. They can't always be as sweet and perfect as we make them sound...Can they?

Little Cuties

McKinley is sure growing up fast! She's 4 months this week and we're having a lot of fun with her. Rylan is such a cute big brother. He loves to be by "sister" and help mommy with her. The cutest thing is when I asked him to go give her her plug (binki) once and when I got into the room he had climbed up on my bed where she was and was playing and making her laugh while holding the plug in her mouth. He's a pretty good helper when he's not being his adorable two-year-old self.


There's not been a whole lot going on with us recently. We did spend several days in Aurora with Tawnya and Grannie making quilts, working, picking out paint, eating, spraining ankles, getting X-rays, and most of all having lots of fun! Poor Ammon gets left behind most of the time, but we're looking forward to our trip we'll be taking to Seattle in May for Daren's wedding.
Well, we hope this week is the start of good weather and outdoors. We'll take some new pics and keep you all posted.

**Just a little side note to our "Phantom Visitors": I know that recently we have had some new visitors to our site and I love that the word is getting out so everyone can see what we're up to and updated pics and soforth, the only thing missing is a note to say you've stopped by. Precious Kids!

I just wanted to put one of these cute pictures on for everyone to see all the kids/cousins in our family so far. My bro Weston and his family came for a few days from Cali and so we couldn't pass up the chance to get a pic of all the kids. Tawnya has all the boys Kyle, Nathan, Shayler, and Jamison, accept the one in the cowboy hat and that's Chantz. He belongs to Weston and Amee, and so does the blonde in the pink shirt and that's Sage. The cute little redhead is Aspen and her sister the cute little blonde right in front is Dallee and they are Owens' girls. Then of course you can tell who's the little cutest baby that Kyle is holding and the little red nosed brat that is sitting on the ground Mr. Rylan. We had just woke him up from a nap and he was not thinking the picture time was cool at all. I guess we're lucky that he even looked forward. It always seems to go that way, there's always a kid that has to act up when you want pictures taken. Oh well, they are pretty cute nonetheless.

My Wife

Im new to this, so bare with me.... Today is a special day, and Id like to let my wife know as she reads this, Happy Valentines Day, and that I love you very much.

I am been blessed with a wonderful women, we have come to know more about each other every year, brewed up 2 beautiful kids Rylan and McKinley, she works hard watching and careing for them everyday, Im sad to leave them in the morning, I think about them all day and when the time comes I excited and cant wait to get home to them.

My Family does alot for me and I hope I give as much back as I can, they make me very happy. Im proud of my wife and my two kids.

I'm such a belnap

Well, you can see I've been able to add some more pictures finally!!! I'm such a dork. Our printer where I have to put the memory card has been acting up and I just gave up on trying to figure it out so that I could put more pics on here and tonight Ammon showed me the stinkin' easiest way to access the pictures through another route and I feel like I'm alive again. Just when you think that you're so smart and you know anything about computers etc you're quickly proven wrong. I hope I'm not the only Belnap that has blonde moments and can't figure things out. I've said so many choice words and been mad for weeks now. Dumby.....
Maybe it's the steroid treatments we've all been breathing in at our house. All of us got sick, but little miss McKinley decided to get RSV before the winter ended. To keep her out of the hospital and get her better we've been giving her breathing treatments with the nebulizer and she's doing tons better. In the meantime, you can see that even the dog has slanted eyes :o). Rylan has been so good this week and he's such a great helper and a good eater too which you can see.
